So, it's finally the weekend, and I haven't updated my blog in a couple of days, so I'll do a quick recap:
On Thursday, we had class again, and then my mom and I went to get dinner after. Well...there was a Thai restaurant, so I figured I'd go in and check it out. To my surprise, there was actually a Thai guy behind the counter along with 2 other caucasian girls. They were all in their teens to twenties, so it was pretty chill. I ordered some bbq chicken, and as it was being made I asked them what people around the area did for fun....they kind of drew a blank...lol. Sucks to live in Idaho! As the conversation continued, I told them I was from LA, and that this small town thing was pretty new to me. Upon hearing that I was from LA, the Thai guy and I had a pretty interesting conversation..it went something like this:
Thai guy: So, are you Mexican?
Me:.... O.o No, I'm actually full Chinese
Thai Guy: Oh, that's cool, you're English is really good for being Chinese
Me: Oh, I was born in the US, Cali born and raised
Thai Guy: OHHH!! So you're Half!
Me: ....half what?
Thai Guy: Half Chinese and Half American!
Me: ...no, I'm Chinese American
Thai Guy: *confused look* Oh, that's cool, ...then he went back to check on my food, lol
During this conversation, the two girls were standing next to him just shaking their heads...yea, it was pretty funny, lol, after that, I just left and went back to my hotel room and grubbed.
Friday finally came along, and we were broken up into small groups in the class, and we had to teach these groups for 30 minutes on a subject that we had learned in the class, needless to say it was a bit nerve wracking, but at the same time it felt good. We did not know what subject we were teaching until right before we taught it, and were assigned the subject by one of our instructors. Naturally, I was given a subject that I didn't even study, lol, so when I got up to teach, I was pretty nervous at first, however as I started to go, I got more comfortable with it, and actually began to really enjoy it =] After this experience, I really feel like this is going to be the field of work I'm going to go into.
At the end of the class, we were all certified to be Theta Healing DNA1 teachers! It's pretty exciting, I'll get my actual certificate after I go through my training next week to be certified as a DNA2 Theta Healing teacher.
After the class ended last night, we grabbed dinner with one of my mom's friend's from the area, and ate at a fusion Sushi place, which to my surprise, was pretty fresh and really tasty! =] After dinner, we just walked around the river and enjoyed the scenery. So that was Friday,
Now today, my mom took me around the town of Idaho Falls. The city hosts a farmers market every Saturday, so we went and checked that out, ended up buying food from some local farmers, including some really tasty cherries, and farm grown corn slathered in mayo and Parmesan cheese, mMm mMm good! Following that, we walked around Snake River, and then, since there was nothing else to do, my mom and I went shopping, lol. Long story short, today was a pretty relaxing day. To my surprise, it gets freaking hot in Idaho, it topped 103 today, so I feel all the pain that you guys are all going through back home! Alright well thats it for now, I gotta wake up at 5:30 aka 4:30 LA time, because my mom and I are going to Yellowstone tomorrow!! There will definitely be pics of that, so stay tuned! alright well until then, peace!
Some pics from the past few days:
Last day of the class, don't look at the people, focus on all the little orbs that are floating around. That's not a light or photography trick, those are lil balls of energy and spirits, crazy huh!
The corn, that was oh so good!
Yes, I like to attack my corn, no mercy!!
My mom and her fobby visor, eating her corn =]
Proof that I'm in Idaho Falls, lol
So, I guess this is a plaque for the first bridge that was erected in the city, I guess its a pretty big deal...lol
This is the bridge, it reminds me of my physics project in high school, lol.
Thanks for looking, and feel free to subscribe! =]

Day 3 in the great Potatoe State...
So...it was Day 2 of the class today, and it went pretty well. Went over a good amount of review material, since a lot of people still didn't quite understand what they were learning, and that's not good..since they're trying to get certified to be teachers! lol. In any sense, it went well. I met a very nice Hawaiian lady name Elanee who actually lives in Idaho....to think, someone actually moved from the Islands to Idaho! But, she did it for love...so I guess it's a valid reason, lol =] In any sense, she thought I was an Islander, which is pretty dope, since I do love Hawaii and every aspect of Hawaiian Culture. It made me think of maybe even moving out there for a little bit in a few years, I feel like it would be a great experience and a very spiritual retreat for me, but we'll see...In any sense, she owns the best Hawaiian restaurant in the area, so I think I'm going to check it out tomorrow night.
Speaking of food, for lunch today I went to Five Guys Burgers and Fries, which is a burger join that started from the East coast and is expanding West. I first read/heard about it in my INC. Magazine, so I figured it would be a nice place to go and check it out...and let me tell you, it was AMAZING!! Really good burger joint, definitely an experience on its own, and I never get old of being the ONLY Asian in whole restaurant, lol. In any sense here are some pics of the place
The name always intregued meSo Many Caucasians! lol
The burger itself, don't mind the bite...I was Hungry, lol
Awesome x 1000000000000
mMmm...french fries in a styrofoam cup, doesn't get much better then that, lol
So I posted that I went here on fbook, and I guess there are 2 in Cali, looks like I'm going to have to check it out to see if its as good as the one I had here, and if it is, it may be giving In-n-Out a run for its money! As much as I do love my In-n-Out, (and those of you who know me, know I LOVE In-n-Out), this place was pretty bomb, the freshness just blew me out of the water, so I guess we'll just have to see...
Alright, well that's pretty much all for today, got another big day tomororow, so until then, I'm out, thanks for reading, peace!

Day 2...!
So, it's Day 2 here in Idaho, technically my first full day, and I have to admit, the people out here are really friendly! I honestly thought it would've been awkward since my mom and I seem to be one of the few Chinese people in the whole city of Idaho Falls, but to my surprise everyone has been nothing but nice. I've also come to realize that Idaho must have No smog laws and No helmet laws, because about 1 out of every 4 cars that I've seen have plooms of smoke coming out of the tailpipe, would be a perfect place to rock forced induction =D lol
So today I started my first day of training, and it was pretty fun, and really insightful. There are about 140 people in the class, which, from my understanding, is a bit high, but its all good. There are numerous people from different countries world wide, including a handful from Israel, Japan, Holland, Australia, Canada, France, and of course the good ol' US of A. I didn't take any pictures while during the class, but I took some pictures of the area, so w/o further adieu, enjoy today's plethora of goodies
The outside of the institute, it was actually really nice!
The sign from the outside =]
Look at the background and the mountains and the sky, it reminded me of the old Window's wallpapers
Yes!! Chinese Food! First Chinese person I've seen in the city, lol. Ate here for dinner, egg foo young and chow mein....yum!!
So....there are zero fixed up cars....ZERO, these mini trucks are the closest things I've seen to an aftermarket automotive scene, lol
I guess there's a Titanic exhibit at the Idaho Museum...might check it out later this week
Watertower....duh...lol
Man made waterfalls, this could be why its called Idaho Falls, lol. Notice the Mormon Temple in the background
Close up of the Mormon Temple, from what I know, there are a lot of Morman's that live in this area
For some reason, this billboard looked really old to me...
So, this is our hotel
Yep, AmeriTel Inn
And our Rental Car, 2009 Ford Focus with about 5k miles on it, not to shabby for a rental
Alright, well that's all the adventures for today, I'll update with more pics tomorrow, until then, peace!

Idaho..? Naw foo, You da Ho!
Hello from the middle of no where, aka Idaho! That's right folks, I'm currently in the great potato state. Many have asked me why I'm out here, I'm getting a lot of "Oh, is it for vacation?" Now...why ANYONE would want to visit Idaho for vacation beats me, but either way, no I'm not here for vacation. I'm actually getting certified to be a Theta Healing Teacher. Some of you may, or may not know, that I am, and have been a practitioner for numerous years, and now I'm going to start teaching it to teenagers and young adults =] If you don't have a clue what I'm talking about, check out this website, it should answer all your questions www.thetahealing.com but either way, I'm here for 10 days to get certified. So, I'll be updating the blog on my adventures, and if anyone actually follows this, please feel free to comment, and if you've got any questions on Theta Healing, don't hesitate to ask me =] Alright, on with the pics:
Window view over the middle of nowhere
If you look closely, you'll see....nothing, lolMy mom and I actually arrived in Salt Lake City, and then drove up North, finally being welcomed by the great state of Idaho!
This is what our drive looked like most of the way...would've been PERFECT for some street racing...and it looks like someone had the same Idea as me, lol
Alright that's it for now, I'll take more pictures tomorrow, I was pretty lazy today. Alright well its 2 AM here and I have to be up by 7, so until tomorrow, peace!
