back from the BAY!

What's goin on blog readers, well for those who aren't in the know...I was up in the hypebeast city, aka SF last weekend with Team Supastar for J's Gathering, aka Wek'fest. The pictures I posted were stolen from Cody's camera because I, being the smart person I am, forgot my SD card for my camera in my laptop, so Cody's pictures will have to do.

Without further adieu, here ya go:

Upon leaving, I sat shotgun a custom hardtop Miata, unfortunately, it was raining when we left, and to my misfortune...the hardtop leaked...a lot. haha, the weather stripping that was used came from a convertible, so water was leaking in everywhere...AWESOME!

To top it off, the car had just been painted, and the masking job done by the shop was pathetic to say the least, so there was clear coat over spray all over the windows, that sure made navigating in the rain enjoyable =]

It took us 3 hours to get OUT of LA, literally 3 hours...w t f.

When we finally left LA, the roads cleared up and we were good to go.

Only in the middle of nowhere can you find 100 Octane Gas, too bad Jon didn't really fill his car up with it =P

Group shot at the first stop

The Miata and Nicul's Jetta

That front end of Nicul's Jetta was blue tapped like there was no tomorrow, and the paint still got scuffed up a bit. Thats why you get a clear bra =]

back on the road, Cody and I were in the Smart Car, and Cody had me take a picture of the nav....kind of pointless when there's only 1 way to go...

Finally after 9 hrs of driving or so, we got to the edge of the city. Paying at the Bay Bridge, what a pretty sight!

waiting. . .

We finally crossed the bridge to get into the city. This picture came out looking pretty sick, given the point and shoot camera that Cody had.

So after a long night of driving, gassing up, and avoiding the shitty SF roads, we FINALLY got to the loft we were staying at.

Unfortunately, we had 10 people staying in a 500 sq ft loft, you do the math.
Needless to say it was just a lil cramped, and with a majority of the team members being f'ing loud ass snorers, most of the team didn't get much sleep

Eventually we all woke up and went and dropped some of the cars off at Jtown. Then we went to eat breakfast at some hole in the wall called Little Croissant, or something like that. Regardless the food was cheap and pretty good

Leo (in the blue) didn't get any sleep the night before, so you could imagine she was pretty damn tired, PLUS she was sick...no go

After breakfast, we went to a local carwash and got the cars all washed up, and spent the remainder of the day going around the city. Eventually we would go to Ron's sister's apartment which was right by Fisherman's Warf.

Fisherman's Wharf, here we are.

Yea, that's me...thanks Cody, lol

We were starving, so we decided to grub on some Fisherman's Wharf classics:
clam chowder bowl, calamari, and oyster shooters. Yum!

After the wharf we went back to Ron's sisters apt, where we were able to go on top of their roof to see the night skyline. The following are some gorgeous pictures of the view

3 Pictures cropped together, I'd love to just look out at that and contemplate about life

Simply breathtaking

At the bottom of Golden Gate Bridge

This picture was taken at the very top of the hill where the old base used to be.
Needless it say it was FREEZING when we took this picture, but in the end it was well worth it =]

Jon's T-shirt is decieving, he was SUPER cold...lol

Driving across the bridge.

our display at Wek'fest

This GS was SOOO gangsta!

Mad negative camber, seeing this thing parked is one thing, but seeing it roll was even crazier!

and...that's it, hope you enjoyed the show!
